OSDAVians shared their knowledge of AIoT Project Showcase-Al the new normal" 

 

OSDAVians after being selected among 50 schools across India to pilot 'AIoT Integration in Curriculum’ program started by CBSE and Ministry of Education, organised Artificial intelligence based "Project Showcase-Al the new normal" on June 2,2023. Mrs Shelly , the master trainer and content developer for Artificial Intelligence Integration across subjects for CBSE Curriculum , INTEL and NITI Aayog was the Guest of Honour for the event. Mrs Suman Nijhawan , the Regional Director of DAV Schools also graced the occasion . The event was attended by the students and teachers of various DAV Schools.

 The prototypes developed by OSDAVians after months of  exploration and experimentation were demonstrated. Al based projects like smart bridge, blind stick, laser door and safe travel and "Al as a new part of curriculum"-integration of science and social science with machine learning impressed the viewers. Computer vision CV which was the outcome of students' learning in 13 days online Boot Camp was also on the showcase. The ideation of future projects left students and the teachers from other schools curious and quite interested in the ideas .On the occasion,the CBSE resource person Mrs Shelly shared her valuable insight with the students.The Principal of the school Mrs Anju Talwar in her address to the students, said that she was quite happy with students' adaptation to technology and their efforts to use it for making life easy. She shared that the school has ignited the spark of innovation among students and the tinkering has begun The Regional Director Mrs Suman Nijhawan commended the efforts of the Principal, teachers and students and inspired the students to continue on the path of innovation. Other schools' students and teachers appreciated the projects and said that they had learnt many new things through this Project Showcase.
